Elon Musk’s strained relationship with his transgender daughter, Vivian, is no secret.
In a previous interview with Jordan Peterson, Musk publicly disowned Vivian, stating that she was “dead” due to the “woke mind virus.”
Vivian has since spoken out about her father’s hurtful behaviour, describing him as “cold,” “quick to anger,” “uncaring,” and “narcissistic” in an interview with NBC News.
Following Musk’s recent viral tweet targeting Taylor Swift for endorsing Kamala Harris’ presidential bid, Vivian has now shared her thoughts on her father’s latest controversial comment.

Vivian calls dad Elon Musk’s Taylor Swift tweet “heinous incel nonsense”
On September 11, 2024, Elon Musk took to X and responded to Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris with a peculiar tweet: “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
This came after Taylor self-deprecatingly referred to herself as a “childless cat lady” in response to J.D. Vance’s comments about single women.
Vivian, Elon’s daughter, took to Threads to praise Taylor’s public support for Kamala, exclaiming: “The timing for the Taylor Swift endorsement of Kamala Harris honestly could not have been better. Can’t wait to see the Swifties at the polls! Vote blue.”
Additionally, Vivian shared her thoughts on her father’s tweet aimed at Taylor, providing a glimpse into their complicated relationship.
“Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet.’ Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense. I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent,” she wrote. “That much is obvious and if you don’t see how then you’re part of the problem. I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”
She continued, “I really am not the biggest fan of this subject. I am my own person with my own name after all. However, I just feel like that had to be said even if it’s incredibly self-evident. Cheers.”
Vivian has not spoken to Elon Musk in four years.
Vivian Jenna Wilson, formerly known as Vivian Musk, is the daughter of Elon Musk and his ex-wife Justine Musk.
In 2022, Vivian made a bold move by legally changing her name to distance herself from her billionaire father.
In an interview with NBC News, she opened up about her decision, expressing her desire to establish her own identity and avoid being defined by her association with Elon Musk.
“I would like to emphasize one thing: I am an adult. I am 20 years old. I am not a child,” she said. “My life should be defined by my own choices.”
