In recent weeks, a TikTok user and mother known as Nurse Hannah (real name: Hannah Hiatt) has moved from a source of comfort for fellow moms to facing serious allegations.
Her “17 diapers” video initially went viral, prompting other parents on the app to share their own experiences of feeling too exhausted or unsupported to manage household tasks.
However, many now believe that Hannah’s dirty diapers might indicate neglect—or something even more troubling.
After a clip surfaced showing her son flinching away from her in a grocery store, accusations of child abuse arose, and another TikToker, Anthony Blackwell, claims to have reported her to Child Protective Services.
So, is Nurse Hannah really in jail? Here’s what we know.
Is Nurse Hannah in jail? Rumors of her arrest are swirling.
Several of Nurse Hannah’s videos featuring her toddler son have gone viral, including the flinching clip and another where she appears to be having dinner with her husband while her son looks on, hungry and without food.
Although the allegations against Hannah are currently just speculation, one TikToker has taken it upon himself to act.
On December 4, a TikToker named Anthony Blackwell posted a video aimed at Hannah, claiming he reported her to Child Protective Services.
“Gotcha, Hannah,” he stated. “And I did find your home address, and I’m gonna report you to CPS, ’cause that s–t don’t fly with me.”
Anthony explained that while he works in home repair during the day, he spends his evenings sleuthing.
He detailed how he discovered her home address by checking her husband’s LinkedIn profile, looking at his real estate LLC filing, and matching the condo interiors to those seen in her videos.
While it seems Anthony was serious and likely did report her to CPS, there’s no evidence that she has been investigated or arrested.
The rumor of Hannah’s arrest began after a TikTok account called CDCNews5 posted a video claiming she had been arrested following a CPS investigation.
However, this account lacks credibility as a legitimate news source and uses clips of other arrests to support their claims.
While many believe the rumors about Hannah’s arrest, there is no solid evidence to back up CDCNews5’s video.
Notably, Hannah’s last TikTok was posted on December 4, the same day Anthony allegedly reported her to CPS.
Now, people are praising Anthony as a hero and commending his “FBI skills.”
