“We’ve got an album that looks like it will be hitting the airwaves in early to mid-2026,” Carson revealed. What was originally planned as two EP releases last year has evolved into something bigger and better. Fans of The L.I.F.E. Project can expect new music very soon.
When Stone Sour announced their hiatus in 2020, Rand joined forces with Carson to create The L.I.F.E Project. Since dropping their debut single “The Nothingness” in April 2021, the duo has been on a roll, releasing a string of singles and EPs. The last new track from The L.I.F.E. Project was in September 2022.
In an interview with Different Stages Radio last January, Carson gushed about the latest mixes they’ve been working on, hinting at the incredible sound fans can expect. Carson’s musical journey began in 2013 when she founded Paralandra with her father in Springfield, Missouri. Their latest project, “Hallomas,” dropped in November 2025.
Meanwhile, Rand’s musical legacy dates back to 1993 when he first joined Stone Sour as their rhythm guitarist. After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2000 and has been a cornerstone of the band ever since. In addition to his work with The L.I.F.E Project, Rand also formed the hard rock band Moonshot with Canadian singer-songwriter Lindsay Robins.
