Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have welcomed a baby girl!
Golden Raye Mahomes was born on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, as announced in an Instagram post shared by the parents on Monday.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife already have two other children: 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes and 2-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes.
In July 2024, the couple revealed they were expecting a baby girl during a gender reveal party, where 3-year-old Sterling played a game of tic-tac-toe with pink “X” letters that won the game, much to the family’s delight.
They announced their third pregnancy that same month with an Instagram post titled “Round three, here we come,” featuring Brittany showing a sonogram photo. M
In December 2024, Brittany shared pictures from a pregnancy photo shoot, captioning it with “Mom of 3 loading…” while wearing blue jeans and a loose white blouse.
Brittany previously explained in an Instagram story that the name Sterling was inspired by their two dogs, Steel and Silver, the latter of whom was almost named Sterling.
“We thought of Sterling and I said no, when I have a daughter one day I want that to be her name,” she shared. Patrick also mentioned in a press conference that the name Bronze was chosen to complement Sterling.
