It’s been a year since Beyoncé released her “Cowboy Carter” album, and now she’s bringing the country-inspired music to the stage!
The singer kicked off her big, 32-date stadium tour on Sunday night just outside of Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium.
With some exciting fireworks and a walk down a runway in a white outfit with fringes, Beyoncé started the show with her song “American Requiem.”
These five shows at the SoFi Stadium are a new record for her, as she has now performed there more times than anyone else.
She played three nights at the same stadium last year during her “Renaissance” tour.
The opening night of her “Cowboy Carter” tour was full of songs from her latest album, which even won Album of the Year at the recent Grammy Awards.
Out of the 36 songs she performed in the nearly three-hour show, 19 were from “Cowboy Carter.”
Fans were treated to great dancing, stylish costumes, and even appearances from her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi. Beyoncé even rode a mechanical bull during the show!
After her shows in California, Beyoncé will perform multiple times in cities like Chicago and East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Then, she’ll head to Europe in June before coming back to the U.S. for shows in her hometown of Houston, as well as Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas, with the tour ending there in late July.
