Are Selling Sunset’s Chrishell and Bre Still Friends?

After delving into the Chelsea vs Bre drama on Selling Sunset season 8, Chrishell Stause revealed she’s no longer friends with Bre Tiesi due to Bre’s ongoing lawsuit.

Chrishell found herself caught between supporting Chelsea, who’s been through a public divorce, and giving Bre the benefit of the doubt.

However, with new allegations surfacing after filming, Chrishell has distanced herself from Bre, citing “inside knowledge” that has altered her perception of her co-star.

Are Chrishell and Bre still friends?

During a Q&A session with fans on Snapchat, Chrishell opened up about her friendship with Bre following the events of season 8.

When a fan inquired about their current relationship status and if they are still in communication,Chrishell said, “This one has some nuance to it and is a little painful to answer, obviously. There was an element of, I could see where Bre was trying to do the right thing and we are on a reality show, so there are pieces of the puzzle that I could understand. All of that being said, of course I understand where Chelsea is coming from.”

“That’s why I was really caught in the middle of seeing both sides,” she added. “That being said, there was a lawsuit that came out afterwards and I unfortunately got some insider looks into some of that. I’ll just leave it at that.”

Chrishell continued: “Unfortunately, I will just say that I don’t have a friendship with her right now, and just kind of really disappointed at that whole situation.”

During her chat with Entertainment Tonight, Chrishell confirmed the change in her relationship with Bre.

She said, “It’s difficult, I have inside knowledge that was disappointing to learn about certain things. I wish her the best, but I wouldn’t say that we’re on good terms.”

Sharing further details on Snapchat, Chrishell mentioned, “She has an ongoing lawsuit going on. If what is involved in the lawsuit and her own text messages become public, you guys will see. And if they don’t, just understand I have my personal reasons.”

Why is Bre Tiesi being sued?

In April 2024, Bre faced a lawsuit from three former employees alleging harassment and emotional distress.

The individuals suing Bre include her former nanny Lucy Poole, her ex-social media manager Amanda Bustard, and her former personal assistant and stylist Kenneth Gomez.

The lawsuit, as reported by PEOPLE, claims the employees were mistreated based on their sex, gender, and sexual orientation while working for Bre.

Kenneth Gomez accused Bre of making derogatory comments about the LGBTQ community, while Lucy Poole described being treated in a vulgar and violent manner if tasks were not up to Bre’s standards.

Amanda Bustard claimed she experienced inappropriate and violent behavior from Bre and witnessed Bre threatening other employees with physical harm.

The former employees seek damages and other legal remedies, each requesting over $3 million in compensation.
