Robert Irwin Shares Behind-the-Scenes Look at Viral Dance Move on TikTok

The winner of “Dancing With The Stars” season 34, Robert Irwin, has shared his take on Val Chmerkovskiy’s viral dance move in a TikTok video posted on Dec. 17. The behind-the-scenes footage shows Irwin practicing knee walks before his Paso Doble performance with Witney Carson to “Icky Thump.” The move gained popularity when Chmerkovskiy used it in his freestyle with Alix Earle during the finale.

Fans praised Irwin for his rendition of the dance move, with one fan jokingly calling him the “kneewalk GOAT” in the comments. The comments section was filled with admiration for Irwin’s dance skills and his interpretation of the viral move.

Since his win on DWTS, Irwin has returned to Australia to continue his family’s conservation work at the Australia Zoo. In an Instagram post on Dec. 2, he announced his involvement in the Crocodile Hunter Lodge project in honor of his late father, Steve Irwin. The lodge opened in 2022 as a way to welcome visitors to the Australia Zoo and provide a home away from home for guests.
