Did Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Get Married?

Jonathan Majors has confirmed that he secretly married Meagan Good.

While promoting his new film Magazine Dreams on Sherri on March 19, Majors shared details about their wedding.

Host Sherri Shepherd, 57, mentioned she knew he had found love with Good, 43, but was surprised to hear they had gotten married on March 18.

“I told Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life,'” Majors, 35, said, tearing up. “I love that woman so much. How it happened—well, Lord, Sherri, thank you. We fell in love.”

Majors explained that their marriage had always been the plan. “We finally got to do it, but it was always the plan,” he added.

The Creed III star revealed he asked Good’s father for his blessing before the wedding.

“I asked her father for permission… If that was alright, and he said, ‘That’s cool,'” Majors said. “It was a longer conversation. So it was always the plan.”

Majors’ mother, a pastor, officiated the ceremony. “My mom came from Dallas.

She had never been to one of my screenings, so we told her about the wedding at the Magazine Dreams screening,” Majors shared. “My mom married us yesterday. Her mom was there too.”

Majors also revealed that they had their rings engraved in Hawaii after he spoke with Good’s father again.

Good was previously married to pastor DeVon Franklin, with their divorce finalized in June 2022.

In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of two counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment. He was sentenced to complete a year of an in-person batterers’ intervention program in Los Angeles in April.
