Tina Knowles, who proudly celebrates the achievements of her daughters Beyoncé and Solange, is optimistic about the future of her granddaughter, Blue Ivy.
During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote her new memoir Matriarch, the 71-year-old fashion designer beamed with pride over her daughters’ successes.
Beyoncé made history with her landmark win at the 2025 Grammy Awards, while Solange continues to shine as an exceptional producer. Knowles expressed how proud she is of both of them.
She also shared her belief that Blue Ivy has a bright future ahead. When asked by host Jennifer Hudson if her granddaughter ever seeks her wisdom, Knowles explained that Blue Ivy tends to turn to her mom for advice instead.
“Her and her mother are really tight, so they don’t need me to offer much advice,” Knowles said with a smile. “They just tell me to mind my business.”
Earlier in an exclusive interview with People, the businesswoman shared valuable advice for moms, reflecting on her experience after being honored at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in October.
“I think the teenage years are the most challenging, but it gets better, and you get out of it what you put in,” Knowles explained.
“That’s what I truly believe. The more love, care, and support you give your kids, the more you’ll see in return.”
She added, “I’ve been so blessed to do so many things in my life, have many careers, but I’ve always said the best job I’ve ever had is being a mother.”
