Cardi B has a message for President Trump after blaming him for ruining her shoes at this year’s Super Bowl.
Shortly after attending the game in New Orleans between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, she went on Instagram Live to showcase her damaged shoes, claiming Trump was responsible for their destruction.
“Look how f*ed up my shoes [are],” she said in a reposted clip on X (formerly Twitter).
“This shoe cost me three bands. All because of Trump. Now I like him lesser!” She added, “You didn’t have to go to no damn Super Bowl. F*ing up my shoe!”
Cardi explained that “because Trump was there,” the cart service was suspended, forcing her to walk around, which led to her shoes getting worn out.
She also expressed frustration over the Secret Service’s presence at the game, saying they were “not playing” and making things difficult for everyone.
To make up for her ruined shoes, Cardi B asked Trump to let her uncle return to the U.S., claiming he had been deported. “Well, he definitely ain’t going to do that,” she noted.
During the game, Trump became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl in person, and while he was in the stands, he received both cheers and boos from the crowd.
He left the game early, boarding Air Force One over an hour before it ended, missing the Eagles’ victory over the Chiefs with a final score of 40 to 22.
