Meghan Markle Teams Up With Billie Eilish to Gift Merch to Teen Who Lost Home in LA wildfire.

Meghan Markle and Billie Eilish are experts at creating unforgettable moments.

In a Tuesday, February 4 Instagram post, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared that she and the 23-year-old nine-time Grammy winner teamed up to assist a teenage girl who lost everything in the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

“I was just told that something arrived that I have been waiting for,” Meghan said in a selfie video while excitedly walking through her home.

Upon entering a room, she sighed in relief at the sight of a box filled with merchandise waiting for her.

Meghan, who grew up in L.A. and now resides in Montecito, recounted that “about two or three weeks ago,” she and her husband Prince Harry, 40, visited Altadena, California, where they encountered “a community where all the homes were left in ashes.”

Many locals lost their homes in the Eaton Fire, one of several wildfires that devastated the L.A. area in early January.

She then shared her encounter with a mother surveying the damage of her home alongside her 15-year-old daughter.

“This mom had found a couple of things, and as I was talking to her, I turned around and saw this young woman,” Meghan said, referring to the teen.

“She lives there, and her mom shared with me that when they returned to see their house for the first time, all she’d been looking for was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert she had just attended,” the Duchess continued.

In their rush to evacuate, the teen had left the shirt in either the washing machine or dryer.

Meghan explained, “And of course they now see their home, and the washing machine, their dryer, are ash.”

“Thank you, Billie, this means the world to her!” Meghan exclaimed, her voice filled with gratitude.

She continued, “To everyone showing up in big and small ways to support those affected by the California wildfires, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity are making a real difference.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who reside about 90 miles north of LA, recently visited Pasadena on January 10 to distribute food and supplies to Eaton Fire victims.

They also opened their Montecito home to evacuees and are working tirelessly through their Archewell Foundation to support the community.
