Kylie Jenner Reflects on Friendship Fallout With Jordyn Woods

Kylie Jenner has opened up about her friendship with Jordyn Woods.

In an interview with Elle for the magazine’s November issue, the Khy clothing founder, 27, shared that she “was heartbroken” when her close relationship with Woods was strained in 2019.

“We’ve always tried to talk through things, so it’s never been a complete cold-turkey cutoff; it was needed distance,” Jenner explained.

“Anytime something happened, good or bad, and I needed to call someone, it would always be her,” the mother of two shared. “Losing that person felt really lonely, but I had to go through that.”

The “Kardashians” star then explained that because of her and Woods’ intense closeness, they needed to expand their horizons after the relationship drama with Kardashian and Thompson unfolded in 2019.

“I learned so much, gained so much independence, and was there for myself. It helped me grow up a little bit, because we were so attached at the hip,” Jenner revealed.

“I think that in order for us both to grow, she needed to spread her wings and do what she needed to do as well.”

Earlier this year, Jenner explained the nature of her relationship with Woods, stating it was a casual friendship.

The Sprinter founder then talked about the viral hangout she had with Woods in July 2023 and how, after that moment, the buzz surrounding their friendship seemed to fade.

“I think what I love now is that the narrative about us online is also over,” Jenner shared with her older sister during the same episode.

“When we were seen leaving that restaurant, it was a story for a day, maybe two days, whatever, and now it’s over. People know we’re cool, and no one’s talking about it anymore.”
