Cardi B’s One MusicFest Performance Cancelled After Hospitalization

Cardi B has announced that she was hospitalized due to a “medical emergency” and will not be performing at One MusicFest on Saturday.

She disclosed this in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“I’m so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the last couple of days, and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.

“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there”, the rapper wrote.

Cardi further thanked her fans for “understanding” and promised she would “be back better and stronger soon.”

“Don’t worry. Love y’all, Thank you guys for understanding… I will see you soon 🫶🏽.”

Cardi first opened up about her medical situation on Monday night when she went Live on Instagram from her hospital bed to call out a prank caller who reported to child protective services that her three children were in danger.

In the video, she expressed that she couldn’t “even breathe” while addressing her viewers, stating, “Motherf–kers have taken s–t too f–king far when you mess with my f–king kids.”

This incident comes just a month after the Grammy-winning artist welcomed her third baby with estranged husband Offset, with whom she is currently going through a divorce.

Earlier this month, Cardi also dismissed rumors about having plastic surgery after her latest pregnancy.
