The Hollywood Bowl’s 2026 season lineup was recently announced, and fans of ’70s American rock will be thrilled to see ZZ Top on the calendar. The band is set to perform at the iconic Los Angeles venue on Aug. 5, with Cheap Trick as a special guest.
Tickets are currently exclusive to recurring season pass holders, but individual tickets will go on sale starting in May. Those who purchase a 2026 season subscription package will have early access to tickets and a 20% discount on select shows.
ZZ Top’s performance adds to a star-studded lineup that includes The Beach Boys, Foo Fighters, Samara Joy, Patti LaBelle, and more. This news comes ahead of ZZ Top’s upcoming tour, “The Big One,” spanning Europe and the U.S., kicking off on March 21 in Abilene, Texas, and concluding on July 25 in Cadiz, Spain. Tickets for the tour are already available on ZZ Top’s website.
Formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas, ZZ Top is known for their gritty blues-rock sound and iconic image, particularly the long beards of guitarist Billy Gibbons and bassist Dusty Hill. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, ZZ Top remains a cornerstone of American rock history. The current lineup includes Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard, and bassist Elwood Francis, who stepped in for Hill after his passing in 2021.
The “The Big One” 2026 tour dates include various U.S. and European cities throughout March to July, culminating in their performance at the Hollywood Bowl on Aug. 5. The tour promises to bring ZZ Top’s classic sound and iconic energy to fans around the world.
