Former Disney star Skai Jackson was recently arrested for domestic battery after an altercation with her boyfriend.
This incident occurred at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, California, on August 9, as reported by Tmz.
The actress, best known for starring in the Disney shows, “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was reportedly involved in domestic violence.
According to TMZ report, security personnel observed the couple beginning to argue and decided to intervene when they allegedly saw Jackson push her boyfriend multiple times.
The security personnels held the couple until the police showed up.
After checking the footage, authorities observed that Jackson allegedly pushed her boyfriend twice, resulting in her arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery.
She was then cited and released a few hours later. Currently, the LA County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case to decide on potential additional charges against Jackson.
Interestingly, despite the evidence, both Jackson and her boyfriend have denied any physical altercation, asserting they are happily engaged and anticipating a child.
The actress, who went viral as a meme in 2016, has chosen to keep her personal life, including information about her boyfriend, mostly under wraps.
Skai Jackson is not the first Disney Channel star to encounter legal troubles.
