Why Jennifer Lopez Cancelled the U.S Leg of Her 2024 Tour

American singer, Jennifer Lopez had on May 31, announced that her 2024 “This Is Me…Live Tour” would be cancelled which led many to wonder why such decision was taken.

Following her album “This Is Me… Now”, her first new album in five years, the tour was scheduled to begin in Orlando on June 26 and wrap up two months later in Houston.

However, her tour cancellation news was officially announced by LiveNation, stating that she was “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”

JLo herself shared her disappointment in a newsletter, expressing regret for having to alter plans for her fans.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.

“Tickets for the shows will be automatically refunded”, she wrote.

“I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.

“I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time,” she concluded.

Despite JLo’s numerous apologies, the reason behind her tour cancellation remains unclear.

Speculations surrounding her relationship with Ben Affleck have been circulating.

There are rumors hinting at potential trouble in their marriage, although neither Ben nor JLo has officially addressed this.

However, It may not be unconnected to the inability of the tour to sell out venues the way that her team may have hoped.
