Why Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are facing a hard time selling their Beverly Hills mansion ?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are attempting to move on from their past, which now includes their $68 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

Despite their efforts to sell the 38,000-square-foot home, they have faced challenges finding a buyer, with potential deals falling through.

The couple first met while filming Gigli and started dating soon after. They got engaged in 2002, postponed their wedding in 2003, and eventually broke up in 2004.

After rekindling their relationship in 2021, they got engaged again and married in 2022. However, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, listing April 26, 2024, as their official separation date.

According to TMZ, a couple from New Jersey had shown interest in purchasing their mansion but backed out due to a family tragedy.

The couple is expected to lose money on the sale due to several factors, including home improvements, mansion taxes, and the broker’s fee. Affleck has already purchased a new home, and Lopez is also searching for a new property.

Beverly Hills luxury real estate agent Josh Flagg noted that Affleck and Lopez are eager to sell, having listed the property at a price close to what they originally paid for it. However, it is unlikely they will make a profit, and they may either break even or incur a small loss.
