Liberté Chan’s Career at KTLA
Liberté Chan worked as a meteorologist and reporter at KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles for over a decade. She was a familiar face on the KTLA weekend morning show, where she gained popularity for her weather forecasts and on-air fashion.
Departure from KTLA
In February 2021, Liberté decided to leave the news media, including her position at KTLA. This decision came after a period of personal loss, as she had lost both her parents within three years. Her departure was officially announced on Sunday, February 28, 2021, when she said goodbye to the KTLA 5 Weekend Morning News.
