Ivy Getty’s mother is commonly known as Alyssa Jewels, since she is a jewellery designer.
She is actually called Alyssa Boothby and is based in San Francisco. Her Instagram account is private, but Ivy follows her.
It’s unknown when she separated from John Gilbert Getty, but it was during Ivy’s younger days.
She has never made an appearance on her daughter’s social media, so we assume Ivy was closer to her grandmother and father, who she regularly mentioned.
Ivy’s close connection with Ann is clear on her Instagram: she regularly posted tributes praising her grandmother as her inspiration. Even her wedding dress was decorated with embroidered walnuts, since her grandmother was raised on a walnut farm.
Ann and John both passed away in 2020 and Ivy was naturally missing them on her big day.
Ivy said: “Not physically having two of the most important people in my life with me on my wedding day is extremely hard.”
