A new season of “The Masked Singer” has arrived, bringing with it a fresh lineup of celebrities concealed behind elaborate costumes and a wave of guesses from viewers. As Season 14 kicks off, fans are once again trying to decipher the clues and identify the famous faces performing beneath the masks.
In this week’s episode, 10 performers faced off in five head-to-head battles, with the in-studio audience voting on which singer from each matchup would move on. The five performers who didn’t advance in their initial battles then underwent a second round of voting. Ultimately, the two contestants with the fewest votes were unmasked and eliminated by the end of the night.
Galaxy Girl, one of the contestants on the show, went up against Handyman in a memorable performance that showcased her confidence and stage presence. Her rendition of “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl” by Chappell Roan stood out. Her costume was a dazzling celestial spectacle, designed to resemble a planet straight out of outer space. With an oversized head resembling a ringed planet, shimmering makeup, expressive eyes, and a radiant smile framed by orbiting details, Galaxy Girl exuded a cosmic charm. Metallic moons and planets swirled around her waist and hips, while spikes extended outward like sun rays.
A clue package provided insight into Galaxy Girl’s backstory, hinting at early success and a decision to step away from the limelight. Clues included references to flowers, a calendar showing Friday the 13th circled in red, and a suggestion that she walked away from stardom.
As the panel of judges weighed in on Galaxy Girl’s identity, Rita Ora praised her stage presence, suggesting she was an international star. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg focused on the timeline clues and hinted at potential connections to horror films. Ken Jeong proposed Emma Stone as a possible match for Galaxy Girl.
The vibrant cast of Season 14 includes unique characters such as 14 Karat Carrot, Cat Witch, and Queen Corgi, each adding a dash of mystery and excitement to the show.
“The Masked Singer” airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Hulu. Stay tuned for more thrilling performances and celebrity revelations as the season unfolds.
