Kelly Clarkson’s holiday hit “Underneath the Tree” is making its way to the top of the charts, with a recent jump to the no. 6 spot on the Billboard Holiday 100 chart. This 2013 track, a fan favorite, has achieved its highest ranking ever, spending a total of 64 weeks on the chart since its release.
Not just stopping at “Underneath the Tree,” Clarkson has also made waves with her 2021 duet with Ariana Grande, “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me,” which secured the 49th spot on this week’s chart. In the past, Clarkson has had four other songs on the Holiday 100 list, including festive tunes like “Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You)” and “Under the Mistletoe” with Brett Eldredge.
As for collaborations, Clarkson’s rendition of “Silent Night” featuring Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood spent 7 weeks on the holiday chart, reaching no. 16 in 2014. Additionally, her version of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” appeared on the chart in 2011 for one week.
