In the new limited series “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas” on Hallmark Channel, Mae Whitman shines as Kate, a single woman living a Bridget Jones-style life in England. Despite being content with her single life, Kate’s friends sign her up for a matchmaking program of 12 dates leading up to Christmas.
Premiering its first two episodes on December 5, “Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas” has quickly become a fan favorite. New episodes air every Friday night on Hallmark Channel and stream on Hallmark+ the following day, with the next episode airing on December 12.
Kate, a talented textile designer in Saville Row, lives in a quaint English village next to her father Mac. Her mother, Delilah, is a globe-trotting American always on adventures. Unbeknownst to Kate, her best friend signs her up for “The 12 Dates of Christmas,” a holiday matchmaking program with curated yuletide dating experiences. Reluctantly participating, Kate’s life takes unexpected turns when she meets someone who reignites her passion for life.
As Kate navigates her way through the 12 dates, she also learns more about herself. Meanwhile, her father Mac may be starting a romance with a local widow named Evelyn, helping him rediscover love outside his house.
“Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas” is a limited series by Hallmark Channel and will not have a Season 2. The next two episodes will air on Friday, December 12 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on Hallmark Channel and stream on Hallmark+ the following day.
