The rock star bassist of Aerosmith is hitting the road once again, but this time, it’s not with the iconic band he helped create over 55 years ago.
Tom Hamilton is now part of Close Enemies, a newly formed group that also features vocalist Chasen Hampton, guitarists Trace Foster and Peter Stroud, and drummer Tony Brock. The band has been rocking out throughout 2025 and has already started announcing tour dates for 2026, with shows in California and Florida scheduled for January, and more to come.
Close Enemies is gearing up to play fan-favorite songs from the past at their upcoming concerts, including some occasional Aerosmith hits. Hamilton expressed his excitement about playing songs he had co-written, like “Sick as a Dog,” which he had been eager to perform live for a long time.
Despite releasing five singles, the band is also working on a new album set to drop in 2026, tentatively in March. For a sneak peek at their music so far, check out their website.
In recent news, Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD teamed up to release a fresh take on their song “Wild Woman.” With the help of Lainey Wilson, the remix adds a country flair to the bluesy rock track, showcasing Wilson’s bold vocals and unique style.
With their dynamic sound and captivating live performances, Close Enemies is definitely a band to keep on your radar in the coming year.
