Paparazzi captured moments of affection between Mellencamp, 43, and her new beau on Sunday. The man was seen with his arms wrapped around her, going in for a kiss on her cheek, and even adjusting her baseball cap, which covered her shaved head.
While the man’s identity has not been publicly revealed, Mellencamp confirmed on her “Two Ts In a Pod” podcast that she is indeed dating someone new. She described him as “very kind” and “nice,” adding that he’s a “private person” and doesn’t have any children of his own.
Mellencamp was first diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in October 2022 and underwent numerous surgeries, receiving a clean bill of health in January 2024. However, in March of this year, she announced that the cancer had progressed to stage 4, with tumors found in her brain and lungs.
The reality star also filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave, with whom she shares three children, in November 2024. Despite her ongoing health challenges and divorce proceedings, Mellencamp seems to be embracing this new chapter in her personal life.
