Sugar Announces Love You Even Still 2026 World Tour

The 1990s were filled with the unmistakable sound of Sugar, the alternative rock band founded by Bob Mould after the breakup of Hüsker Dü. Alongside David Barbe and Malcolm Travis, Sugar quickly rose to fame in the college rock scene, crafting what many consider to be a flawless debut record: 1992’s “Copper Blue.”

Like a fleeting sugar rush, Sugar disbanded in 1995. But now, they are back with a full-blown reunion tour. The band announced the Love You Even Still 2026 World Tour, featuring new live dates and a brand new song titled “Long Live Love.”

The initial slate of reunion shows, which were announced back in October and have since sold out, will kick off in May at New York City’s Webster Hall before heading overseas to London’s O2. After touring Europe, Sugar will return to the States in August for shows on the East Coast and Midwest.

Tickets for the Lover You Even Still World Tour will go on sale on Friday, January 30 at 10 AM local time, with presales starting on January 27 at 10 AM local. Fans are excited for the band’s return, with Mould expressing his surprise at the positive reaction to their new music.

With two albums, an EP, and several music videos under their belt, Sugar’s return signifies a new chapter in their musical journey. Fans can expect more new music as the band prepares for an exciting year of rock shows around the world.

“It’s been wonderful to hear people talking so fondly about how much the band meant to them — the strength of the songs, the energy of the shows (and the decibel levels of them!),” Mould shared. “Now that we’re back in business, we’re laser-focused on getting in shape for an exciting year of loud rock shows around the world!”
