In a shocking case that has left the Las Vegas community reeling, a 44-year-old woman, Crystal Scott, is facing a staggering 73 charges for allegedly impersonating a pediatric nurse and providing fraudulent prescriptions to diabetic children. The investigation into Scott’s actions began when a chief nurse at the Clark County School District noticed inconsistencies in a prescription order for insulin on September 26, 2026.
Upon closer examination, it was discovered that Scott had falsified signatures and used the identities of licensed physicians without their knowledge to write up to 24 fake prescriptions for 12 diabetic children aged 5 to 14 years old. When authorities searched Scott’s belongings, they found various drugs, insulin pumps, completed lab orders, and blank lab orders in a physician’s name. This discovery shed light on the extent of Scott’s deception and the potential harm she had caused to unknowing individuals.
Reports indicate that Scott was associated with a business called “Glucose N Glow,” which claimed to offer personalized endocrinology and aesthetics care on its Instagram page. However, investigations revealed that the business was unlicensed, and Scott herself was not a registered nurse despite claims made on her bio on “The Docs” website.
Scott now faces a slew of charges, including forgery, practicing nursing without a license, and child abuse, among others.
