Adding to the stir, a 2016 interview with Selena Gomez, Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, has gone viral, in which she shared a bizarre encounter involving Diddy.
In the interview with GQ, Gomez recalled how Diddy mistook her for a valet during an event. She mentioned that while dating Bieber at the time, Diddy handed her his valet ticket, assuming she worked at the venue.
Gomez, reflecting on fame, described it as being in a room where people laugh without any jokes. The incident with Diddy underscored how surreal her life had become in the spotlight.
Meanwhile, Bieber appears to be distancing himself from Diddy in light of recent events. Following Diddy’s arrest on September 16 on sex trafficking and sexual assault charges, reports suggest Bieber is keeping his distance from the rapper.
According to a source, while Bieber is aware of the allegations, he prefers not to focus on them, as he has been enjoying life in a “happy bubble” since the birth of his son, Jack.
