Ricki Hendrick Opens Up About Pregnancy Challenges as Due Date Approaches

As Ricki Hendrick, daughter of former Bachelorette Emily Maynard, approaches the end of her pregnancy, she’s opening up about the challenges she’s facing. On a recent Friday, the 20-year-old mom-to-be took to her Instagram Story to share the ongoing symptoms she’s experiencing.

“Guys. Being pregnant is miserable,” she wrote. “I woke up at 2 for no reason, threw up 30 mins later, fell back asleep, woke up at 3:45, threw up again, fell BACK ASLEEP, WOKE UP AGAIN, THROWING UP NOW BC I’M HUNGRY, but ofc I can’t eat anything bc it will prolong the cycle.”

Ricki revealed that these episodes occur almost daily at this stage of her pregnancy. Alongside her candid update, Ricki shared that her baby is currently the size of a small otter, emphasizing the anticipation of meeting her little one in person rather than on an ultrasound.

In August, Ricki announced her pregnancy via an Instagram Story, using a playful quote from Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa to humorously break the news. She confirmed that she’s expecting a baby girl and jokingly added that her “stomach is so empty because she hates all food.”

Being the eldest child of Maynard, Ricki’s pregnancy journey has been both exciting and challenging. Maynard herself is no stranger to the spotlight, having appeared on The Bachelor and later as the lead on The Bachelorette, ultimately finding love and marriage with Tyler Johnson. Now a mother of five, Maynard couldn’t hide her sarcastic joy when addressing rumors about Ricki’s pregnancy outside of marriage, showcasing the family’s candid sense of humor.

As Ricki navigates the ups and downs of pregnancy, she humorously shared the baby items her mother has already collected for her grandchild, emphasizing Maynard’s excitement for the new addition to the family. With a blend of humor and authenticity, Ricki’s journey into motherhood showcases the deep bond between mother and daughter, despite the challenges they may face along the way.
