In 1967, Taylor landed a role in Mel Brooks’ feature film “The Producers,” playing an actress portraying Eva Braun, a part she secured while performing in the play “Luv” alongside Gene Wilder.

Throughout the 1970s, Taylor and her husband, Joseph Bologna, collaborated on numerous film projects, notably co-writing the Oscar-nominated film “Lovers and Other Strangers.” The couple also wrote and starred in the romantic comedy “Made for Each Other.”

While Taylor appeared in several productions post-“The Nanny,” she is most recognized for her role in the beloved sitcom.
