Ree Drummond’s Dance Floor Denial

Ree Drummond has conquered the Food Network, the bestseller lists, and social media, but one place fans will never see her is on the ballroom floor of Dancing With the Stars.

The Pioneer Woman recently made this revelation after her daughter, Alex Drummond Scott, hosted a fan Q&A on Instagram. When asked if she would ever appear on the popular show, Alex playfully suggested that her mom should do it instead.

In a video accompanying the post, Alex jokingly mentions how many people have suggested she should be on Dancing With the Stars, but she dismisses the idea, stating she’s not famous enough for such a gig. However, she believes her mom would be a perfect fit, especially since Ree used to be a ballerina.

Ree re-posted the clip with a humorous response, saying, “No thanks, they’d probably make me wear a sleeveless dress.” This witty comment is a perfect example of Ree’s self-deprecating social media style, showing she’s not one to chase the spotlight beyond her comfort zone.

Despite having the talent and stage presence to wow a ballroom audience, Ree seems content staying in the kitchen and out of sleeveless costumes. Her recent projects, including a new YouTube cooking channel and a Thanksgiving special, as well as a new cookbook and book tour, show she’s thriving in her element.

The Drummond family has also experienced growth and change, with Ree and her husband Ladd now having five children, including a granddaughter. While Ree may have the skills to shine in a ballroom, her focus remains on her culinary empire and family life.

In a world where fame and glamour often go hand in hand, Ree Drummond’s refusal to step into the limelight of reality TV competition shows her authenticity and commitment to her passions. So, while others may suggest she venture into new territory, Ree seems happiest where she is, creating delicious dishes and enjoying time with her loved ones.
