Real Housewives of Miami cast member Marysol Patton and Steve McNamara are now legally married. According to a marriage certificate obtained exclusively by Page Six, the couple, who held a symbolic wedding ceremony in 2021, officially exchanged vows at the Coral Gables Courthouse in Florida on Wednesday.
An insider confirmed the news to Page Six.
On Wednesday, Patton hinted on her Instagram Story that she and McNamara were planning another wedding. She posted a picture of wedding bells with The 5th Dimension’s 1969 song Wedding Bell Blues playing in the background.
The 57-year-old reality TV star also shared a photo of herself getting ready with the help of a Glamsquad stylist. In the image, Patton was adjusting her white floral headpiece while looking into a mirror, with her dog sitting in her lap. Another photo showed her dog looking out of the window, dressed in a pink bow tie. Patton added a wedding ring sticker to the adorable picture.
Representatives for the Bravo star were not immediately available for comment.
Patton and McNamara decided to formalise their marriage after a non-legally binding ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, in April 2021. At the time, sources told Page Six that the couple held a private traditional Mayan ceremony in honour of Patton’s late mother, Elsa Patton, who passed away in 2019.
“It was based on her mum’s spiritual-religious beliefs,” explained the insider. “She felt her mum’s influence led her to have this type of ceremony — Elsa is still in charge!”
The couple met a year earlier and did not have a formal engagement.
Two years later, Patton and the Miami-based businessman renewed their vows in July 2023 at Ardgowan Castle in Scotland.
“My mum predicted I would get married again and again and again. So I am — to Steve!” she told Page Six at the time. “We are already planning the next one, and it’s going to be fabulous.”
Patton was previously married to her ex-husband, Philippe Pautesta-Herder, from 2010 to 2012.
