Set to launch on December 1, the podcast will shed light on the senior government officials who fueled this policy with lies and racial stereotypes, as well as the internal efforts to stop it. The first two episodes will debut on December 1, with new episodes releasing every Monday thereafter. Subscribers to MS NOW Premium through Apple can enjoy ad-free episodes starting on Friday before the official release.

This podcast marks Maddow’s first project since the second season of “Ultra” last year, and her first since MSNBC transitioned to MS NOW. Despite this change, Maddow remains a prominent figure on the cable news channel.

Maddow, who previously hosted the 9 p.m. hour on MSNBC nightly before transitioning to a weekly format in 2022, now hosts on Monday nights and during major news events. She also dedicates her time to various multi-platform projects, including podcasts and documentaries.

In addition to Maddow’s upcoming podcast, MS NOW also boasts a lineup of other podcasts featuring talented anchors such as Nicolle Wallace, Chris Hayes, Jen Psaki, Andrew Weissmann, Mary McCord, and Trymaine Lee. The network’s anchors Katy Tur, Ali Velshi, and Stephanie Ruhle expressed their eagerness to expand into the podcast space and other platforms like YouTube in a recent roundtable discussion with THR.

As Maddow delves into this important historical topic with “Burn Order,” it’s clear that her influence and impact go far beyond the traditional cable news format. Her commitment to investigative storytelling and shedding light on crucial historical events is sure to captivate audiences and spark important conversations.
