Pedro Pascal and Rafael Olarra Spotted Filming New Gay Romance Film in Mexico

Pedro Pascal and Rafael Olarra were recently spotted in Mexico while filming Pascal’s new gay romance film, “De Noche,” directed by Todd Haynes. The image captured by TMZ shows Pascal in costume, wearing a gray vest, purple tie, black fedora, and rectangular black-rimmed glasses, with Olarra standing behind him in a casual beige outfit.

“De Noche” is currently being filmed in Mexico, close to where the pair was last seen in March. According to Deadline, the film, originally at risk of being shut down, found new life when Pascal, a four-time Emmy nominee, joined the project, taking over the role from Joaquin Phoenix, who left after two weeks of absences.

Pascal and Olarra have been making headlines for their public appearances together, from Mexico to New York City and Los Angeles. Pascal recently celebrated his 51st birthday with a nod to Olarra, sharing a photo from a pinata party and tagging his rumored beau.

While Pascal is known for keeping his personal life private, openly gay Olarra, a graduate of Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, has been more open about his relationships. He was previously linked to actor/singer Luke Evans, but the two announced their breakup in 2021 after a year together.

The chemistry between Pascal and Olarra continues to spark interest, with fans eagerly following their public outings and social media posts for glimpses into their rumored romance. Their shared moments, whether in Mexico or celebrating birthdays, offer a window into their relationship, leaving fans intrigued by the connection between the actor and his handsome companion.
