Noble-Eagle Industries, in partnership with Johnvents Group, has launched an empowering Women’s Skills Initiative in Owo, Ondo State. The initiative aims to support female entrepreneurship by providing women with practical soap-making skills to help them create sustainable businesses and achieve financial independence.
Through Project Nourish Africa, Noble-Eagle Industries has completed the first phase of the program, training 50 women in the region. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and aims to equip women with the necessary skills to contribute to Nigeria’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
Since its inception in 2023, Project Nourish Africa has focused on empowering individuals and creating economic opportunities for communities. The program offers hands-on training in soap-making techniques for bath, laundry, and liquid soaps, as well as business management skills tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Ademola Atolagbe, Managing Director of Noble-Eagle Industries, emphasises the importance of empowering women in remote areas to become entrepreneurs. The Women’s Skills Initiative is a step towards fostering a new generation of women entrepreneurs who can drive change within their families and contribute to the growth of the MSME sector in Nigeria.
The program, conducted through interactive workshops, covers a wide range of subjects including understanding chemical components in soap-making, business management, and market readiness. The goal is to provide women with the essential tools and knowledge to build sustainable businesses and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
Looking ahead, Noble-Eagle Industries is committed to expanding this initiative to reach more women across Nigeria. By empowering women with the resources they need to thrive as entrepreneurs, the Women’s Skills Initiative is making a significant contribution to the growth and diversification of Nigeria’s MSME sector.
