Tonight on Next Level Chef, the Top 9 chefs faced a new challenge in the competition: cowboy cooking. The three remaining teams, led by Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais, were all equal with three chefs each. Team Arrington, who delivered the best dish last episode, found themselves in the top kitchen, while Team Gordon had the eliminated contestant and ended up in the basement.
In a high-stakes elimination challenge, two chefs – one from each of the bottom two teams – had to cook against each other. For one chef, their Next Level Chef journey would come to an end. Machete Gonzalez from Team Nyesha was the unfortunate chef eliminated in this round.
The advancing contestants on tonight’s episode were Andy Allo, Christian Alquiza, Cole Lawson, Connor Caine, Danielle Kartes, Darian Bryan, Gabrielle Coniglio, and Jared Veldheer. The night’s challenge required the chefs to channel their inner cowboys and elevate rustic ranch-style dishes to the next level. Gabrielle from Team Gordon emerged as the winning chef and expressed her pride in leading her team to safety.
In the elimination challenge, Richard chose to send Jared in due to slightly overcooked protein, while Nyesha chose Machete based on the effectiveness of his dish. The challenge was to make an elevated King salmon dish in just 25 minutes. Unfortunately, Machete’s dish didn’t make the cut, leading to his departure from the competition.
Next Level Chef airs on Thursday nights on FOX and streams the next day on Hulu. Tune in to see the remaining contestants battle it out for culinary supremacy.
