Naomi Watts is super happy and proud of her daughter Kai, who is starting a career as a model.
Even though Naomi mostly kept her kids away from the public eye while they were growing up, Kai has recently started to step into the spotlight. She’s been going to fashion shows with her famous mom and even modeling in them herself.
Naomi also has a 17-year-old son named Sasha. Both Kai and Sasha are her kids from her previous relationship with Liev Schreiber. Naomi is now married to Billy Crudup.
This week, Naomi used Instagram to show how proud she is of Kai. She shared photos from Kai’s new modeling campaign for Valentino, a big fashion brand that Kai has walked runways for before.
This campaign was led by Alessandro Michele, who used to design for Gucci, and the pictures were taken by Glen Luchford.
The first picture Naomi posted showed Kai with her light blonde hair parted in the middle and very light eyebrows. She was wearing a short black top with hanging beads and a blue bow, along with light blue jeans and a black belt.
Kai also shared the photos on her own Instagram and said she was very thankful for the opportunity and everyone involved. Her mom, Naomi, commented on her post, saying she loved it and thought it was like “pure poetry.”
Kai, who is 16 and signed with a modeling agency called IMG Models, is Naomi and Liev’s youngest child. However, she is now a big sister to her dad’s baby daughter, Hazel Bee, who was born in August 2023. Liev shares Hazel Bee with his wife, Taylor Neisen, whom he married shortly before their baby was born.
