My Chemical Romance Announces Postponement of Asia Tour Dates

My Chemical Romance has left their fans with mixed emotions as they recently announced unexpected changes to their upcoming tour. The 2000s rock band had confirmed scheduled performances in major cities across Asia, including South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia as part of The Black Parade 2026 Tour.

The Asia leg of the tour is a part of the band’s global concert run, starting in Bogotá, Colombia with the South American dates and concluding in California in October during the North American shows. However, just ahead of the long-awaited shows, My Chemical Romance surprised fans by announcing updates to the upcoming tour.

In an Instagram post, the band revealed that the scheduled Asian shows had been postponed but would proceed as planned at a later date in November 2026. The post assured fans that the shows were not canceled, and all purchased tickets would be honored for the new dates.

The new schedule for My Chemical Romance’s Asia concerts includes stops in Incheon, South Korea on November 7, Singapore on November 10 and 11, Bulacan, Philippines on November 14, Bangkok, Thailand on November 17, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 19 and 20, and Jakarta, Indonesia on November 22.

Initially, the Asian leg of the tour was set to begin in April, but due to the changes, fans will have to wait until November to see the band live. Despite the delays, the band expressed their excitement about reconnecting with their fans later in the year.

The announcement, however, did not sit well with some fans who expressed disappointment and called for clarity on the reasons behind the changes. Despite this, My Chemical Romance continues to be known for their emo/pop-punk songs and theatrical performances led by frontman Gerard Way.

As fans eagerly await the rescheduled shows in November, the band’s electrifying stage presence and emotional intensity are sure to captivate audiences once again for a memorable concert experience.
