All You Need to Know About Mor Shapiro

Mor Shapiro is the wife of controversial political commentator Ben Shapiro, the founder and editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, an American conservative news website.

Mo Shapiro was born in 1988 to a Jewish Moroccan family in Herzliya, Israel. Though, she was born and raised in Israel. At the age of twelve, Mor moved with her family to California where they’ve been ever since!

Mor Shapiro Education

Mor’s passion for medicine started early on. She first attended UCLA, and later went to David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) school where she received her medical degree from. 

Mor Shapiro is the founder of DGSOM UCLA Ethics Symposium, which became an annual event.

She was also a member of an Accapella group at her medical school for years. 

Mor currently works with Family Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana, California.

Family

At only 20 years old, Mor got married to Ben Shapiro who she met through his younger sister Abigail. The pair got married in 2008 in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony in Acre, Israel.

This beautiful woman is a mother of two children: a daughter, Leeya Eliana Shapiro, born in 2014 and a son born in 2016. In 2015, Leeya had open-heart surgery for a hole in her heart.

Let’s face it, we all want to know how our favourite celebrities live their lives. But the reality of Mor Shapiro is that she is not a public personality, and you will not find her on social media.

Despite being less public, Mor leads an active life and earns her living.
