Metal Church Announces New Album “Dead To Rights” and Tour

Metal Church is back with a bang, and fans of thrash metal are in for a treat. The West Coast heavy-metal legends have just dropped a bombshell—an electrifying announcement that has set the music world on fire.

In a recent Instagram post, Metal Church revealed that their 13th studio album, “Dead To Rights,” is set to hit the shelves on April 10, 2026. This new album marks a fresh chapter for the band, featuring founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, alongside the talented lineup of longtime guitarist Rick Van Zandt, bass player David Ellefson, drummer Ken Mary, and new vocalist Brian Allen.

“You can now pre-order the all new studio album from Metal Church ‘Dead to Rights’!” the band declared via their official Instagram account. Produced by founding guitarist Vanderhoof, the album will be released by Rat Pak Records in the U.S., Reaper in Europe and the U.K., and Rubicon in Japan. Fans already got a taste of the album with the release of the first single, “F.A.F.O,” back in November 2025.

But what makes this album truly special is the story behind it. “This new album is very special to me for one reason: the band was over, and I honestly didn’t see it being resurrected. But somehow, it brought itself back to life—again!” shared Vanderhoof on the band’s website. With Brian Allen on vocals and the powerhouse rhythm section of Ellefson and Mary, this album promises to deliver the classic Metal Church sound with a fresh twist.

The tracklist for “Dead To Rights” includes hard-hitting songs like “Brainwash Game,” “Deep Cover Shakedown,” and “Wasted Time,” along with a bonus track, “Blood and Water.” But the excitement doesn’t stop there—Metal Church is hitting the road with the “Dead To Rights” Tour in 2026, spanning across festivals and theaters in North America and Europe.

As fans gear up for the release of “Dead To Rights” and the upcoming tour, Metal Church’s comeback is already making waves in the music scene. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a newcomer to their thunderous sound, this is one metal release that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
