Maureen McCormick Pays Tribute to Sid Krofft on Social Media

Maureen McCormick from “The Brady Bunch” took to social media to honor the memory of her colleague after his passing. On April 13, People reported the death of beloved puppeteer and producer Sid Krofft at 96. Known for his work on shows like “Land of the Lost” and “H.R. Pufnstuf,” Krofft had a special connection to McCormick and “The Brady Bunch.”

After the news of Krofft’s passing, McCormick shared a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram. The post featured a photo of her, her “Brady Bunch” co-stars, and Krofft at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In her caption, McCormick expressed her gratitude, writing, “Rest in Peace Sid Krofft. Thank you for the sweetest memories.”

McCormick not only attended Krofft’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony in 2020 but also spoke at the event. Susan Olson (Cindy Brady) and Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) were also present.

While Krofft is best known for his other projects, he served as an executive producer on “The Brady Bunch” spinoff, “The Brady Bunch Variety Hour.” McCormick and her co-stars also appeared on “The World of Sid & Marty Krofft at the Hollywood Bowl” TV special in 1973.

This isn’t the first time McCormick publicly expressed her admiration for Krofft. On his 94th birthday in July 2023, she took to Twitter to share her love and appreciation for him.
