Martha Stewart, known for her elaborate holiday decor and lavish entertaining tips, may have outdone herself in 2025. In a December interview with Country Living, the lifestyle guru shared her extensive holiday preparations, including setting up 20 Christmas trees in her home, all beautifully lit for the season. Stewart, 84, admitted to “overdoing it this year” with two real live Silvertip fir trees in her dining room, adorned with hundreds of ornaments and creating a truly festive atmosphere.
Not stopping at big trees, Stewart also crafted a “woodland forest” tablescape in her dining room, complete with nearly a dozen smaller bottlebrush trees and whimsical woodland animals. The author of “Entertaining” revealed plans to host multiple celebrations, from small dinner parties with friends to her family’s traditional Christmas Eve dinner.
Stewart recently hosted a cocktail party for her dedicated staff at her Bedform Farm in New York, showcasing an elaborate appetizer spread featuring upscale versions of classic party foods. She also introduced an extravagant gold “beverage butler,” flaunted in an ad for Home Sense after partnering with the retail chain.
Despite her grand displays, Stewart is thankful for her hard-working staff who assist in showcasing the holiday decorations throughout her home. Decorating several rooms with festive trees, wreaths, and plants, the decorations include glistening gold and silver trees, wreaths on windows, colorful forced amaryllis, and more, creating a truly festive experience.
When asked how long the holiday decor should stay up, Stewart humorously responded with a simple “Forever!” Her love for the festive season shines through in her attention to detail and dedication to creating a magical atmosphere for those around her. Don’t miss out on Martha Stewart’s holiday magic this season!
