Malevolence Drops New Single “Silhouette” Ahead of North America Tour

Sheffield, U.K. metallers Malevolence surprised fans with a brand-new single, “Silhouette,” just in time for Valentine’s Day. The quartet, still going strong despite their upcoming North America Tour, shared a sneak peek of the music video directed by Richard Oakes, known for his work with bands like TesseracT and Sleep Token. The video expertly combines the ballad-like melody of the song with a mysterious cinematic vibe, showcasing the band’s dramatic movements in striking silhouettes.

The band explained that “Silhouette” was originally created during the writing period for their album WOTTIS, sparking internal debates about its inclusion due to its deviation from their usual style. However, after realizing the track’s potential, they decided to release it on Valentine’s Day. This marks the band’s first independently released single under their own MLVLTD MUSIC imprint.

Malevolence’s new song sets the stage for a co-headline tour across North America with hardcore metal band Guilt Trip. The tour, kicking off on March 31 in Detroit and concluding in Milwaukee on April 24, promises a month of intense performances. The tour dates cover various cities, including Buffalo, Montreal, Brooklyn, Houston, and more, offering fans a chance to experience Malevolence live.

In true Malevolence style, the band’s latest single and upcoming tour showcase their dedication to evolving their sound while staying true to their roots. With a mix of passion and creativity, the metallers continue to captivate audiences with their unique approach to music.
