Love Rocks NYC 10th Anniversary Celebration: A Concert for a Cause

The 10th anniversary of Love Rocks NYC is a big deal this year, with an impressive lineup that includes iconic artists like Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, Mary J. Blige, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Goo Goo Dolls, Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes, Susanna Hoffs, and Warren Hayes. The event, celebrating 40 years of God’s Love We Deliver, promises appearances by celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg, Zarna Garg, Julianne Moore, and more, as well as some surprise guests at the Beacon Theatre on March 5.

Love Rocks NYC has raised an incredible $65 million over the past decade, providing 6.5 million meals for families in need. The event is not affiliated with any religious group, emphasizing its commitment to helping those affected by illness in New York City.

Speaking about the milestone anniversary, Terrence Meck, President and CEO of God’s Love We Deliver, highlighted the power of music in supporting their mission. He expressed gratitude for the dedication of the executive producers, artists, and fans who have contributed to the community over the years. With over 40 million meals delivered since 1985, the event will also recognize the incredible impact of God’s Love We Deliver in nourishing New Yorkers facing severe illness.

The upcoming concert follows recent tour announcements from Paul Simon and Elvis Costello, adding to the anticipation surrounding these legendary performers. Simon is set to continue his “A Quiet Celebration” tour, while Costello will bring his “Radio Soul: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” to Europe and the U.K. this summer.

As we look forward to the Love Rocks NYC concert and reflect on the lasting impact of God’s Love We Deliver, the celebration of music and philanthropy is a testament to the ongoing support for those in need.
