Amy Hart Confirms She Got Married to Fiancé Sam Rason in Spain

Love Island star Amy Hart has married her partner Sam Rason in Spain a year after announcing their engagement.

The 31-year-old reality TV personality confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing photos from the Miraflores Tennis Club in Málaga. “No wedding pictures yet, so here’s our Friday night gallery! A lovely chilled evening with our friends and family,” she captioned the post.

Friends and family travelled to Málaga on Spain’s southern coast for the ceremony, which Amy had hinted would be a musical-themed extravaganza held over four days. She spoke to Heat in January: “It’s a four-day wedding, of course. The first dance isn’t from a song written for a musical, but it has been in one. One of my friends, who just left the West End production of Hamilton, is singing it.”

She added that her friend initially wasn’t sure if he could attend due to another wedding, but both events happened to be in Spain, only 35 minutes apart. “He’s going to their ceremony and drinks and then ours for the meal and first dance. It’s fate,” she said.

Amy also revealed she had found her wedding dress after her stylist Jeff suggested trying a gown she initially wouldn’t have chosen. “I put this dress on—I’d never have looked at it—but Jeff asked me to try it, and I ended up loving it.”

The couple, who are parents to their 18-month-old son Stanley, are expected to honeymoon in Las Vegas, though the date is yet to be confirmed.

Amy, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2019, welcomed Stanley in March 2023. Six months later, Sam proposed during a photoshoot aboard the cruise ship Arvia for her P&O Cruises podcast. Amy was invited to watch rehearsals when Sam surprised her by appearing on stage and proposing.

Quoting a lyric from I’ll Be Here—a number from the musical Ordinary Days—Amy announced her engagement on Instagram: “And he said… hey, whatcha doin’ the rest of your life?”

In another post, she shared a moment with champagne, where she admitted that she is usually aware of everything, but this time, the surprise was flawlessly executed. “So yeah, fiancé! Everything was set up so I wouldn’t have a clue,” she wrote.

Fellow celebrities flooded Amy’s post with congratulatory messages, including Geordie Shore‘s Vicky Pattison: “Congratulations gorgeous!!! This is beautiful.” West End star Lucie Jones added: “Ahhhhh amazing, congratulations!!!” while Wicked actress Alice Fearn wrote: “Couldn’t be happier for you, sweetheart.”

YouTube star Louise Pentland also said, “Omg congratulations,” along with a series of clapping emojis.
