After one of the most chaotic seasons in the show’s history, the reunion for Love Is Blind season 7 is finally behind us.
While Netflix teased on social media that the contestants “did not come to play” and “questions WILL be answered,” what did viewers actually take away from the much-awaited reunion? Who remains married? Did any couples rekindle their romance after the pods? Who’s still holding onto grudges?
Who’s still married?
The couples from Love Is Blind season 7 who made it past the altar are Garrett and Taylor, along with Tyler and Ashley.
After nearly a year of marriage, both couples are confirmed to still be happily together. When reflecting on their first year, Tyler shared that his marriage to Ashley has been filled with “a lot of laughter, a lot of growth, a lot of love.”
Garrett has undergone a “glow-up” since marrying Taylor, participating in NYFW and updating his Instagram bio to “fish | fitness | fashion | food.”
The couple appears to be thriving, traveling the world and enjoying their bi-coastal lifestyle.
They spent the last year in Fredericksburg instead of San Diego, but Taylor mentioned they hope to settle down in DC for their next chapter, which she feels is “the next natural fit.”
Who got back together?
None of the couples who broke up during the season—Nick and Hannah, Tim and Alex, Ramses and Marissa, Stephen and Monica, and Leo and Brittany—managed to reconcile off-camera after the show.
While Ramses expressed regret for leading Marissa on and Tim claimed there was no bad blood between him and Alex, the intense arguments that unfolded during the reunion made it clear that even though the show concluded a year ago, heartbreak, hurt, and anger still linger among these former couples.
What happened between Tyler and Ashley?
Tyler and Ashley have had one of the most talked-about experiences this season after the surprising revelation that Tyler is the father of three children through sperm donation for a friend.
Since that moment aired, social media has been buzzing with speculation that Tyler’s relationship with his kids is more involved than he initially suggested.
However, at the reunion, Tyler and Ashley presented a united front. They were asked about the children controversy within the first ten minutes.
Tyler maintained his previous explanation that he helped a friend and her wife “start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her and left her high and dry.”
He also addressed the resurfaced photos of him with the kids at Christmas, stating, “I’ve spent holidays with all my friends, all their kids.”
Ashley, who stated she had “some things to say,” clarified that Tyler seemingly lied on camera about the children knowing what he looked like in an effort to protect both his privacy and that of the kids.
She firmly defended her husband, expressing that it was “insulting to her intelligence” for viewers to think she was “blindsided” by the true nature of Tyler’s relationship with the children.
