All is set for a brand-new season of Love Is Blind!
Netflix unveiled the lineup for season 7 on Wednesday, Sept. 18, featuring a group of singles from Washington, D.C.
In a sneak peek, the cast, including a pair of sisters for the first time, shares their dating experiences, marriage expectations, and even their opinions on cats, a trending topic in D.C.’s dating scene.
The singles, aged between 27 and 37, span diverse professions, from quantum physicists to art dealers and journalists.
Despite their varied careers, they share a common goal: to embrace the experiment, hoping to find love and commit to a partner without seeing them beforehand.
Within the cast, there are intriguing stories of sacrifices made for love.
For instance, Ashley W., 32, supported her boyfriend as the “sole provider,” while Tyler, 34, went as far as paying rent for someone who turned out to be unfaithful.
The theme of infidelity resonates with Taylor, 30, who has faced betrayal in past relationships.
Cats are definitely a hot topic among the singles. Garrett, 33, who’s allergic to them, dated a woman with a cat for a year.
Marissa, 32, who has two cats, is clear about her stance: “I don’t like people who hate cats.” She emphasizes the need to be neutral about them.
The dating experiences of the singles have been quite eventful.
Bodhan, 36, shared a memorable mishap where a date ended with a finger injury during a steak dinner.
When it comes to partner preferences, qualities like attentiveness and independence matter.
Nina, 32, values thoughtfulness and wants someone who remembers her likes and dislikes, while Nick D., 29, seeks independence and expresses a desire for a partner who won’t overly depend on him.
Love Is Blind season 7 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 2, on Netflix.
