Baylen Dupree of “Baylen Out Loud” faced a heart-wrenching moment as her fiance, Colin Dooley, battled a mid-flight panic attack while confronting his fear of flying on a journey to the U.K.
In an exclusive sneak peek shared by TLC before the Dec. 16 episode, Baylen and Colin embarked on a trip to London with her family to explore a new tic treatment for Baylen’s Tourette syndrome.
Colin struggled with anxiety even before takeoff, visibly nervous as the plane prepared to depart at night. Despite Baylen’s attempts to comfort him, Colin’s fear intensified at the sight of a police vehicle near the plane. Tensions rose as he nervously shook his leg, prompting Baylen to address the situation and try to calm him down.
As the flight progressed, Baylen’s parents, Julie and Allen Dupree, observed Colin’s distress, expressing deep concern for his well-being. Allen shared his worries with producers, highlighting the discomfort of witnessing someone struggle in such a vulnerable manner.
Colin revealed his inner turmoil, confessing to constant prayers during takeoff as he grappled with the loss of control that comes with flying. His fear of a potential disaster weighed heavily on him, painting a stark picture of his anxieties.
The clip ends with a glimpse of the emotional turbulence Colin experienced during the flight, leaving viewers on edge as they await the full episode on Dec. 16.
