Long Island Legends: Taking Back Sunday and Bayside Announce Summer 2026 Tour

Taking Back Sunday and Bayside are set to embark on a highly anticipated tour together in 2026, reuniting two of Long Island’s most influential emo bands. The summer headlining tour will kick off on May 31 in Dewey Beach, Delaware and will make stops in major cities like Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Madison before ending in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Aug. 8.

This announcement follows Taking Back Sunday’s busy 2025 tour with Coheed and Cambria. The band is now ready to hit the road again, this time with special guests Bayside, who share deep roots in the early 2000s emo and pop-punk scene. Presale tickets for the tour go live Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, with general public sales starting on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

For fans who grew up with hits like “MakeDamnSure” and “Devotion and Desire,” this tour feels like a full-circle moment. Taking Back Sunday reflected on their history with Bayside in a heartfelt message, expressing their excitement for the upcoming shows.

The tour will feature both headline shows and festival appearances. Before the official tour kicks off in late May, Taking Back Sunday will also be performing at Busch Gardens in Tampa and the Dia Libre Festival in Monterrey, Mexico. Additionally, the band will present special 20th anniversary sets of Louder Now at the Slam Dunk Festival in the UK.

This tour also marks a significant milestone for Bayside, as the band is celebrating its 25th anniversary in the music scene. Over the years, Bayside has released nine studio albums and built a dedicated fanbase known for their emotional lyrics and melodic punk sound. Despite facing challenges, including a tragic van accident in 2005, the band has persevered and continued to create impactful music.

Seeing Bayside and Taking Back Sunday come together on stage once again feels like a celebration of survival, friendship, and the enduring influence of their music on a generation. The tour is a testament to the lasting legacy of these two iconic bands and their significant impact on the emo and pop-punk genres.
