Lala Kent is closing the chapter on her custody battle with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett.
“The custody battle is over. It’s officially ended,” Kent, 34, shared during a March 4 Amazon Live session. “We’re done with it, so there’s my tea for the day.”
The former Vanderpump Rules star and Emmett, 53, began their relationship in December 2015, went public in 2018, and became engaged that same year. They welcomed their daughter, Ocean, in 2021, and they parted ways the following November.
“After over three years, we have signed an agreement that is best for our daughter, Ocean. So I’m very, very happy about that,” Kent continued, revealing that the custody dispute “has weighed on [her] heart and soul” for quite some time.
“I’m sure it’s been the same for my ex, and I’m just so happy that we were able to get to a good place for the well-being of our kid.” Kent did not disclose the specifics of their agreement.
Following their breakup, Kent accused Emmett of cheating with multiple women, though he has never confirmed these allegations.
“Randall did not want to split, but it was Lala’s decision. The trust is gone. He’s been trying to win her back,” an insider told Us at the time. “He’s constantly posting about Ocean in hopes of getting Lala’s attention and putting on the ‘I’m a good father’ act.”
As both move on post-split, Kent shared in November 2024 during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she and Emmett have found common ground.
Kent also welcomed her second child, daughter Sosa, via intrauterine insemination (IUI) in September 2024.
“My little dream baby entered the world. I am completely in love with her — We all are,” Kent wrote on Instagram.
“Sosa, you have no idea what you have brought into my life. I am blessed to call myself your mama. Welcome to our crazy world, boo boo. We are so happy you’re here.”
