In the heart of New York City, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is about to get a little taste of country flair thanks to Lainey Wilson. The 33-year-old country music powerhouse will be gracing the stage at the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27. Wilson will be performing in front of Macy’s iconic Herald flagship store on 34th Street, starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Other marquee performances at the parade include the voices behind Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, as well as performances from Broadway’s Buena Vista Social Club, Just in Time, and Ragtime. The Radio City Rockettes will also be making an appearance in celebration of their 100th anniversary.
Joining Wilson on the star-studded lineup are artists like Drew Baldridge, Matteo Bocelli, Colbie Caillat, Ciara, Gavin DeGraw, Meg Donnelly, Mr. Fantasy, Foreigner, Debbie Gibson, Mickey Guyton, Christopher Jackson, Jewel, Lil Jon, Kool & the Gang, Darlene Love, Roman Mejia, Taylor Momsen, Tiler Peck, Busta Rhymes, Calum Scott, Shaggy, Lauren Spencer Smith, Luísa Sonza, and Teyana Taylor.
The parade will kick off with a performance by Wicked star Cynthia Erivo. Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker will be returning as hosts for the Thanksgiving Day broadcast, airing at 8:30 a.m. across NBC and Peacock. Following the initial airing, there will be an encore presentation on NBC at 2 p.m. ET/PT.
Fans can also catch a primetime special, “Countdown to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” hosted by NBC’s Melissa Peterman on November 26 at 8 p.m. on NBC and Peacock.
